Slain Gall

Stop!
I command you
Let me go
You can bind me no more
From this day forward
I declare Freedom
Never again
Will your chains chafe me
Soar
Yes, that I will.
Watch me fly
I rise, a Woman
Strong
You must not have known
What you were stomping to the ground
That expression says it all
Haha
What gall
To think
You could hold me down
Shatter my Will
No
You could not have known

I am telling you
Gone is the day of broken
Will
Has conjured the pieces of me

scattered
I am not
I am
Whole
I
Hold
My
Own
My own roots
I water
The good Lord is my sun
With Him I spring forth
Full bloom
Triumphant
Sturdy stalk
Blushing
Golden
Petals
Tan face forever turning towards the Son
Every morning shedding dewy tears
That kiss the ground from which I sprung
Thankful to the Son
For bathing me in the rays of His love
trampled
I am not
I stand
Tall
